Sadly there has been some fly tipping in the playing field.

Costs of removal are significant and come directly from the village council tax payments. Quotes for licenced collection ranged upwards from £150 plus disposal costs, the nitrous canisters alone (x9) were £9.70 each to legally dispose of. There were three bags of building rubble and one new bag of floor levelling compound. On this occasion people within the village have arranged the clearance and costs have been limited to just under £90 (for the canisters).

We also now will need to look at installing camera's to monitor entrances to the park, costs currently for this are unknown.

If anyone knows anything about the source of the rubbish please email the clerk at [email protected]

Just to also add, please look at the health implications from using NOS for recreational purposes, if you need support please take a look at Mind.org.uk, talktofrank.com, the NHS website and https://www.publichealthdorset.org.uk/support-for-drug-problems
